Transparency and texture. These two unlikely themes collide and serve as the creative direction in W14th’s latest collection, Freedom.

Founder, Violeta Tentomas drew inspiration for this collection from the stylish survival of Manhattan’s summer heat, and delivered a line that takes us seamlessly from office chic to rooftop cocktails in the city that never sleeps.

“Breathability and transparency are current trends in fabric and design, but leather is not traditionally thought of as a ‘breathable’ fabric. So we tried to redefine the boundaries by exploring new leather techniques – punching holes, mixing with silk and then taking the treatments further by uniting the perforated leather with wild bursts of colour.”

The result is bold patterns punched into luxe leather skins, exotic printed leather merged with high-grade silk in free-flowing pants, and shoulder-bearing top and dresses. Complex textures, innovative silhouettes, and colours that pop with summer vibrancy are the defining statements in the collection.
